I am a thorough researcher and did a lot of this prior to finalizing with Paragon – especially give the big job and expense. We unfortunately had to have 2 complete roofs redone at the same time – my parents’ and mine (new roofs). We wanted the same company for both, but only if they could deliver. Paragon went above and beyond! We had extensive communication before, during and after each roof, which were done within a few months of each other. We were provided with several options and it never felt like a hard sell. We had 4-5 other roofing companies for estimates so we had some comparisons. Paragon matched the other bids, but with higher quality materials. We discussed some potential changes that might happen after the roofs were torn off – and, of course, there were changes! However, there were no surprises because of the communication. One roof came under the original budget (rarely happens) and the other over (due to larger unforeseen issues). When the issue came up, Nelson walked about and clearly explained what was happening and the best way to fix it. They were also done on time once the work started. They also came back afterwards to fix some cosmetic things on the skylight afterwards. We were not originally planning on a skylight, but once we had to do the whole roof, we got estimates and were able to fit it in. We had photos throughout the entire process – before, during and after. They also sent in cleaners due to the mess from the ceiling. They will not leave until they make sure you are satisfied. I also had to contact Nelson months after the work had already been done to get receipts, extra photos, etc. for accounting and insurance purposes. He knows who I am and I felt like I was still a current and valued customer, not like they did the work and then left us.

Last winter's storm blew some shingles off my roof. I decided it was time to replace the roof after 27 years. Having heard many stories about unscrupulous roofers, I spent 10 months researching and reading up on blogs, reviews and company websites. I interviewed quite a few roofing companies. They are all reputable and established companies with good reviews. Nelson convinced me to choose Paragon for the job. He showed a lot of patience answering my questions, he was warm, sincere and showed a genuine willingness to meet customer's needs. Nelson was reassuring throughout the process. What impressed me the most is his promptness in replying to phone calls or texts. He took the time to listen to my concerns and worked to resolve issues timely. The entire roof was replaced in two days. Nelson showed up both days to make sure things were done properly. The crew worked long hours and were professional and efficient. The project had some wrinkles due to city hall's skimpiness in its inspection process despite very exorbitant permit fees. Nelson tried his best to address the city's deficiencies. Paragon did a good job on my roof.
