Project Overview

This Walnut Creek residence features a symmetrical dual-hip roof that connects into a central flat section, creating a unique structural layout. The roof includes multiple skylights, two chimneys, and several ventilation stacks distributed across both sides.

The central junction and mirrored planes required careful coordination to manage water flow and ensure consistent sealing across all transitions.

Roofing System Installed

The project involved a complete roofing system designed for durability and high-heat performance. Components included Owens Corning True Definition Cool Roof shingles, reinforced waterproofing at the flat transition, custom flashing at all hips and valleys, and detailed sealing around skylights, chimneys, and vents to maintain a fully protected system.
