Project Overview

This Hayward home features a primary gable roof intersected by a side-wing ridge, creating multiple valleys and a varied layout. The structure includes a turbine vent, several box vents, and plumbing stacks, all requiring careful placement to support airflow without compromising the roof system. A lower flat-roof section and proximity to a pool area added further complexity, requiring detailed coordination across all transitions and edges.

Roofing System Installed

The project included a full roofing system built for durability and balanced ventilation. Components included Owens Corning True Definition Cool Roof shingles, high-performance underlayment, reinforced valley protection, precision flashing at all penetrations, and detailed edge sealing to maintain a watertight system.
